Funding opportunities for researchers*

The Cancer Council Queensland is proud to provide the following research opportunities to professionals residing within Queensland:

The Strategic Research Partnership (STREP) Grant

The Cancer Council Queensland is initiating a new research funding scheme in 2008: The Strategic Research Partnership (STREP) Grant scheme.  This funding scheme is directed towards well-established, multi-disciplinary research teams whose potential to perform at the highest level of productivity and significance is limited by constraints on capacity and critical inputs.  The aim is to develop highly effective translational research groups and accelerate the progress of policy and practice focused research on cancer in Queensland.  In 2008, a single STREP grant will be offered, providing funding of up to $250,000 per year for five years. APPLICATIONS FOR 2008 ARE NOW CLOSED.
