Australia has the highest rate of skin cancer in the world. In fact, one in every two Australians will be diagnosed with skin cancer at some point during their lifetime. The good news is, it can be prevented.  By minimising your exposure to the sun’s damaging ultraviolet radiation (UVR), you can protect your skin and prevent the development of skin cancer.  Click on the links below to find out more about protecting your skin from the sun and The Cancer Council Queensland‘s SunSmart guidelines for early childhood centres, schools, workplaces and sport and recreation organisations.
