What is Run for a Cure?
RUNNERS ON TRACK The Cancer Council Queensland's Run for a Cure is like any fun run. Participants can walk, run, cycle, roller-blade or even wheel the course.

Run for a Cure encapsulates our hope to one day find a cure for cancer. All Run for a Cure events are organised in local communities by volunteers.

Cancer affects us all. One in three people will be diagnosed with some form of cancer, and most of us know of someone – a family member, a friend, a work colleague – who has been affected by the disease. Cancer can impact upon any one of us at any time.

When can I participate in a Run for a Cure?

Run for a Cure is held throughout the year, usually on a weekend morning in the months between July and November. For more information about your nearest Run for a Cure, please contact The Cancer Council Queensland on 1300 65 65 85.
