| It's easy to take part |
You can participate in Dress Down Day in a number of ways:
At work
Organise co-workers to dress down for the day and make a minimum gold coin donation for doing so. You can dress casual or in a theme, or enter our 'Best Dressed' competition. Why not put on a morning tea or barbecue lunch to make the day extra special?
At school
Get permission from your teacher or school principal and organise your school to have a free dress day. Ask the students and teachers to make a donation to The Cancer Council Queensland. You might even like to incorporate Dress Down Day into your end-of-year celebrations.

At a function
Combine this fun event with a special function, perhaps your Christmas party. Raise funds however you like - run a raffle or charge a nominal fee to attend.
You may even have another idea about how you can make you Dress Down Day as memorable and fun as possible.
When you register you will receive a Casual Kit which includes a money box, posters to publicise your event and stickers for you to wear so others will know why you are dressing down.

Get creative and have even more fun on Dress Down Day and theme your day for the 'Best dressed' competition. You and your friends could go troppo on the day in Hawaiian shirts, or wear togas instead of suits. Whatever wacky idea you come up with, simply get everyone to come along in a themed outfit, take a photo of the participants and send it to:

| Why do we need your help? |
|
One in three Queenslanders will develop cancer in some form during their lifetime. This means every family in Queensland will be affected by cancer at some stage.
By 'getting casual for cancer' your school, workplace or club will be helping The Cancer Council Queensland make a difference in their lives.
So come on, get involved! Dress Down and have fun while doing your bit to help a worthy cause.
