Every cup counts in the fight against cancer.
We encourage everyone to get involved, from schools and businesses to individuals, social clubs and people of all walks of life. Stop to enjoy a cuppa, and in doing so, raise money for the campaign against cancer.
Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea gives people the chance to get together, take a break, catch up with colleagues or friends and raise money for a great cause. Your support really does make a difference. The Cancer Council Queensland receives no direct government funding, yet has been able to fund more research in Queensland than any other charity. One third of cancers are now preventable and more than half can be successfully treated - but more work is needed.
Hosts can choose where and when to hold their event. Although the official date is , you can host your morning tea any time during May.
